League Structure

Each season will last 10 weeks. Teams are automatically entered into the next season which starts on the 11th week.

Six teams will play in each league, playing each other twice per season.

League Table

Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw or 0 points for a loss.

League positions will be determined by points gained, goal difference, followed by: goals scored and finally aggregate results between two teams.

Register Your Team

Players must be registered by filling in the ‘Bristol Futsal Team Registration Form’.

If a new player joins during a running league, the ‘Player Registration Form’ must be completed before kick-off.

Each team will be allowed to register up to 14 players per season. Each week a maximum of 9 players can be utilised from the 14 signed.

Players will be allowed to transfer between teams but must inform the league co-ordinator prior to kick-off.

Teams playing unregistered players will lose the match 3 nil and be deducted 1 point.

Suspensions

A team or player that has been suspended by the local football association will not be able to participate in any leagues or tournaments with Bristol Futsal.

Teams playing suspended players will lose the match 6 nil and be deducted 3 points.

Any player caught playing while suspended will have additional match bans added to their suspension at the discretion of the Bristol Futsal league co-ordinator.

A player can be suspended by incurring two yellow cards in one game, one straight red card, abusive language to others or violent behaviour. The league co-ordinators will determine the length of the ban at their own discretion.

Timekeeping & Lateness

Teams must arrive 10 minutes before kick-off times. If a team arrives 5 minutes late they will start 1 nil down, 10 minutes late they will start 5 nil down.

If teams are persistently late during a season points will be deducted from their league table at the league co-ordinators discretion.

Failure To Appear & Match Cancelations

Teams failing to appear to a fixture or who cancel their fixture will be given a 6 nil defeat.

Teams that cannot make their fixture must contact the league co-ordinator at least 48 hours prior to kick-off, failure to do so will result in the team being liable for their full match fee for that fixture.

Teams that repeatedly fail to appear to fixtures will be removed from the league.

Any decision to cancel a game can only be made by the Bristol Futsal management.

If a team refuse to play another team, the match will be awarded to the opposition with a 6 nil win.

If a team refuse to complete a game which has already started due to any circumstances, the match will be awarded to the opposition who will receive a 6 nil win (or the goal difference of that game if greater than 6 nil).

Leaving The League

New teams may replace teams leaving a current season; the new team will adopt the points and scores of the previous team. Any team joining after half way through a season will not be able to finish in first or second place that season.
